These five common surface finishing processes of glassware are worth learning

I’m sure you have seen many kinds of glassware in your daily life. Glassware is not only a daily necessities, but also an ornament and an art for appreciation. In our daily life, there are seven main decoration categories on the surface of glassware we see. Today, I will briefly introduce the main post-processing technology of glass with you, and you must remember it carefully.
[Sanding]
Such as physical sanding and chemical sanding;
Such as rubber plate printing, screen glaze printing, kiln baked glaze painting, and pearlescent printing.
[Spray color]
Color spraying is a kind of processing technology that uses a certain proportion of color dye on the surface of transparent glassware, and then sprays on the surface to achieve different colors of products.
Hand-painted
The process of hand-painting in processing is a general name of a large category. Hand-painting usually includes painting on the surface of glassware completely with a paintbrush, printing, and simple decal process after making floral paper. All these are collectively referred to as hand-painting.
[Gold plating]
Gold plating is mainly used to simply paint gold on the mouth or bottom of glassware. There are many conventional methods of gold plating, such as shiny, matte, imitation gold, imitation silver, imitation copper, imitation aluminum, imitation platinum and various alloys.
[Carving]
Engraving mainly refers to a kind of processing method that forms uneven patterns on the surface of glassware manually or by machine or laser to achieve aesthetic effects. There are four common types of engraving: manual engraving, automatic engraving, laser engraving and chemical etching.
