Why shake the wine glass?

For wine lovers and wine tasters, we can better feel the charm of wine by shaking the glass, which is also very beneficial for wine itself.

① The sobering function can make the wine fully contact with the air while shaking the glass, so it can achieve a good sobering purpose. Oxygen will also be rapidly dissolved in the glass during the shaking process, thus making the tannins more supple and the taste more mellow. At the same time, the unpleasant smell in the wine can be released by shaking the glass, making the wine aroma more complex.
② Shake the glass to better observe the color of wine. Because the wine will form a color gradient when it rotates and rises in the cup, it is easy to observe the color of the wine, judge the wine grape variety, year and whether it has been aged in oak barrels.

③ We can observe the viscosity and hanging glass of wine, and then deduce the taste thickness and texture of wine. Generally, wines with more glasses are either of high alcohol content or of high sweetness.

④ It emits wine fragrance. When I pour a glass of wine, the wine aroma is still sleeping. The shaker can make the liquor fully contact with the air, thus releasing more charming aroma and improving the wine flavor. These aroma will gather more at the mouth of the cup, which is more conducive to smell.
